The beautiful memories of my life in Yokohama
This photo essay aims to showcase the beautiful memories I have during my years living in Yokohama. In the near future, I may move to Tokyo to live, so I want to use this record as a medium to reminisce about my life in Yokohama, but this time I mainly record things outside of campus. Yokohama has always been my favorite Japanese city and has been rated as one of the most livable cities in Japan for many years. I like to take a walk on the streets of Yokohama, taste delicious food or enjoy the Yokohama scenery in my leisure time. Here are Living in Yokohama is convenient for me to visit the historic tourist destinations of Kamakura and Enoshima, the modern and fashionable Minatomirai area, as well as the bustling Yokohama Chinatown and Kannai Pedestrian Street. Let's follow in my footsteps and experience Yokohama life together.
(I use The Rule of Two-thirds [2/3 rule] and take 3 basic shots: Long/wide, Medium, Close-up.)
In this photo story, I would like to share three different “colorful” buildings that I have seen in Minatomirai.
The first set of pictures is about the Ferris wheel in the amusement park, which is very special. This Ferris wheel is named Cosmo Clock 21 which is located in Yokohama Cosmo World. It can present different colors at different time periods, and on sunny days, you can even see the Mount Fuji on the Ferris wheel. The official ticket of Cosmo Clock 21 is 1000 Yen. The first picture is a close-up shot, the second picture is a medium shot, and the third picture is a long/wide shot which was taken by me on the far shore from the Ferris wheel.
The second set of images are Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse 1& 2. Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse is a former brick warehouse and now a shopping& cultural center with stores, cafes& seasonal events. The first and second images are long/wide shots, showing the front and sides of Warehouse 1& 2 under ground lighting. The third picture is a medium shot and I captured many tourists shopping and eating. At this time, Hall 1 was shrouded in darkness. The fourth picture is a close-up shot, where I captured a scene where a projector in the distance projected patterns onto Warehouse 1.

The building in the third set of images is located in Zou-no-hana Park. Although I did not enter this venue, I really like the appearance of this building, just like the China Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo. The surface of this building is projected with many different colored patterns, which is very beautiful. The first and second images are long/wide shots. The third picture is a medium shot. The fourth picture is a close-up shot.
