Sun Always Shine After the Rain
After days of relentless rain, the sun finally peeked through the clouds here in Laguna Buenavista, May 8. Its light poured over the soaked earth, reflecting off every leaf and puddle like tiny mirrors celebrating its return. The air smelled of fresh beginnings, and for a moment, everything felt still—like nature itself was taking a deep, grateful breath. Sometimes, it’s after the storm that you learn to appreciate the light a little more.
Looking back on how I waited to capture this photo, I realized the uncanny resemblance of waiting for the sunlight with how I wait for bliss in life. Sulked in my bed, waiting for something to just happen, and obsessing over things that I cannot control.
However, like how the sun still shines even after every storm. Happiness will also follow us in life. There may be times of thunderstorms over our heads, but the hope of light will always slip through our clouded days and bring shine on our smiles.
